Some things in color!

I bought a used book in January that was essentially an anthology of a certain 20th century American painter. These collages are all from that book. I was challenging myself to work in color, which I don't often.

I made a pile of collages this winter out pictures I found of gangster movies. I posted these 4 because they are all sorta wide and don't fit into my collage filing system. So, you know, they'll likely get ruined at some point when I spill soup on them or something.

NEW issue of CSTL NOW AVAILABLE!!!!

I have just printed 150 copies of CSTL issue number 8! The source material for this zine is nearly all Charlie Chaplin movies....but there are a few Marx Brothers images in there as well. My most recent subject has been Elvis. Mostly because I found some really great black and white photos from his early music and film work.

Issue number six available now!

Just printed off my sixth issue of the CSTL collage zine. This one is about 30 percent collage and 70 percent photo copier abuse. I'm gonna be carrying these around with me quite regularly for the next few weeks so send me an email if you want to meet up in Victoria and buy/trade a few zines.
